This vibrant town was once a Buddhist pilgrimage center and today remains an important center for Tibetan Buddhism.

Pelling tours typically last for a few days and offer a chance to explore monasteries, serene lakes, waterfalls, and scenic hiking trails. You can visit historical sites like Pemayangtse Monastery and Sanga Choeling Monastery, or hike to Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred spot believed to grant wishes.

Darjeeling is a hill station famed for its stunning views, including glimpses of Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain. Itinerary

Day 1 :- NJP/IXB TO GANGTOK

Once you arrive at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station, you will meet your travel coordinator and then head towards Gangtok (5,800 ft), which is the capital of the state of Sikkim. The drive is about 4 hrsdepending on the road conditions passing through some very scenic roads along the river Teesta. The vehicle shall drop you off at your destination/hotel in the evening. If you happen to arrive early in the day, a stroll along MG Marg in the evenings is a recommended activity

 

Day 2 :- TSUNGO LAKE AND BABA MANDIR

Morning breakfast at hotel – Excursion Nathula Pass (China Border) to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir ( New ) nearly 40 kilometers – The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep – Generally covered in snow for most of the year the year – This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all – Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers and is optional – Back to Gangtok – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – Over Night stay at Gangtok (Incase of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided

 

Day 3:- GANGTOK TO PELLING VIA NAMCHI

After breakfast transfer to Pelling enroute visit Namchi covering Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham Replica)… After sightseeing head towards Pelling reach late evening ch in at hotel overnight at Pelling.

 

Day 4:- PELLING LOCAL SIGHTSEEN

After breakfast at hotel – Drive for Full Day Sight Seeing of Pelling and its surroundings – The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring – Places of visit are Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake, it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true – Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves, Kechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins, the scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around the helipad or Shopping center – Over Night stay at Pelling

 

Day 5:- PELLING TO DAREELING

On this dau after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to darjeeling evening free for leisure overnight at Darjeeling

 

Day 6 :- DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEN

At about 4:00 AM drive to Tiger Hills -in return visit – Ghoom Monastry &Batasia Loop War Memorial and back to hotel after breakfast proceed to visit-Zoo, Himalayan Mountaineering institute (HMI), Ropeway Cable car ride, Tenzing Rock Climbing Training Center, Chitrey Tea Garden, Tibiten Refugee Center & Japanese Temple Peace Pagoda .Back to Hotel evening free for leisure suggest to visit local market overnight at Darjeeling.

 

Day 7 :- DARJEELING TO NJP/IXB

Drive to Siliguri, on the way to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) (120 kilometers, 2 ½ – 3 hours) – Morning breakfast – After breakfast transfer to Siliguri Via visiting Batasia Loop &Ghoom Monastery and then Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri – Guest are advised to start early and not to rush – Forwarding Journey.
